Building PowerApps without AL coding
One advantage of Business Central is that it is easy to customize and extend to cover a multitude of business needs. PowerApps is one tool that facilitates creating extensions.
Although there are many examples of PowerAutomate, Kris (Krzysztof Bialowas) felt there were very few practical examples of PowerApps.
In a recent blog, Kris explains how he and several others created a BC extension using PowerApps without requiring the use of AL code or extensions. The PowerApp is available on AppSource for free.

Demonstrating sustainability in BC
Businesses are paying more attention to their environmental impact due to their leadership’s awareness, pressure from their investors and customers, and increasing government regulations (such as the proposed Climate-Related Disclosure by the SEC in the US, the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive in the EU, and the Financial Conduct Authority Climate-related Disclosure Requirements in the UK).
Calculating an organization’s carbon footprint is an essential first step to determining that organization’s path toward net-zero carbon emissions.
Stefano Demiliani writes that the upcoming release of Business Central (v24) contains several sustainability features to help businesses demonstrate their sustainability efforts, including the new Chart of Sustainability Accounts page, Sustainability Journals, and the Sustainability Leader.
Cloud BC users can also use the Azure Carbon Optimization service to measure and minimize the carbon impact of their Azure footprint.
