PHOENIX AZ — NOVEMBER 7, 2012 — Microsoft announced ArcherPoint’s Michael Heydasch and Suresh Kulla as the winners of the 2012 Directions Innovation Award at the Directions conference held in Phoenix, Arizona, last week. Heydasch and Kulla worked as a team to develop a dashboard using Windows Store (formerly “Metro”) that communicates with NAV 2013 via web services. This app uses software technologies that, at the time of development, were not yet available to the general public. View a demonstration of the winning application on YouTube.
The other finalists were Bruce Bender of iCepts using Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 Tree View Page for Customer Profitability and John Collins of Western Computer for a Windows 8 Metro App framework using the new OData services from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013.
The purpose of the 2012 Directions Innovation Award is to demonstrate the power of the new Dynamics NAV 2013 platform and to showcase the talent within the Microsoft Dynamics NAV partner community.
