ArcherPoint Milestone: Celebrating 15 Years in Business

ArcherPoint Inc, Founded in 2002 is Thriving in its 15th Year

Atlanta, GA – June 2, 2017May 2017 marked the 15th anniversary for ArcherPoint Inc., a Microsoft Dynamics Gold ERP Partner specializing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV solutions, 24/7 support, and upgrades.

Starting with a vision to help other companies benefit from Microsoft’s signature ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, Dynamics NAV, ArcherPoint was born, initially as Dynamics NAV reseller and systems integrator, back in 2002.

Today, ArcherPoint boasts 101 employees spread across 26 states, Canada, and India. Greg Kaupp, ArcherPoint CEO remarked, “We have achieved this milestone through the hard work and dedication of our team and our commitment to delighting our clients, building the tribe, and continuously learning and challenging ourselves.

Since we are celebrating our 15 year mark, we will be taking time to reflect on where we started, celebrate what we have achieved, and determine how we will best serve our clients for the next 15 years.

Despite the highly competitive ERP market, ArcherPoint continues to thrive. Greg thinks ArcherPoint represents something unique. “In 2015 we converted the company to an ESOP, making it employee-owned. I wanted to see what we could achieve if we unlocked the potential of over 100 employee owners.” Greg says.

Another major transition for ArcherPoint took place last year.  In response to the ever changing needs of our clients and the pace of change in our industry, ArcherPoint adopted a new organizational structure.  This new organizational structure called Holacracy has received significant attention since Zappos adopted it a few years ago.  We have found that replacing the traditional hierarchical structure with a more agile and adaptive organization structure has dramatically increased the pace that the organization can respond to and absorb change.  Holacracy has also worked well with our transition to an ESOP since our employee owners are empowered to make decisions, find ways to better serve our customers, and take action to constantly improve.

Greg added, “Since we are celebrating our 15 year mark we will be taking time to reflect on where we started, celebrate what we have achieved, and determine how we will best serve our clients for the next 15 years.”
