Microsoft Dynamics NAV User Group (NAVUG) online workshop will review environment, sizing, and lessons learned for a successful upgrade

The workshop, part of NAVUG’s Summer Upgrade Series, will focus on what has changed and what companies will need to plan for when evaluating the architecture and sizing of their Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 environment. Specifically, the workshop will review:

  • Microsoft-recommended hardware, sizing, and setup
  • Tools and resources to help companies design and size their environment
  • Similarities and differences from a typical NAV 2009 environment
  • What companies will need to support add-ons
  • How to evaluate what can be re-purposed and what will need to be purchased
  • Variations and lessons learned from customer examples
  • Typical “gotchas” to avoid
  • Options and impacts with virtualization
