ArcherPoint's Eugene Cherish Mentors Teens and Participates in STEM Project Fair
June 28, 2022ATLANTA, GA — June 28, 2022 — ArcherPoint, Inc., a Microsoft Dynamics ERP Gold Partner, Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), and full-service provider of Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Retail, congratulates Eugene Cherish, IT Infrastructure Support at ArcherPoint, on his contributions to the Mouse mentor program, a STEM-based organization, and the Emoti-Con virtual project fair, which provides New York City teens an opportunity to test their technology skills in a competitive environment.
Cherish, a technology enthusiast, mentored two middle school teams from New York City, and provided guidance on how to manage and develop App projects from start to finish. The kids were also able to ask Cherish about his career path in technology during an ask-me-anything (AMA) virtual session.

“The mentoring experience was great, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to provide insights to the teams during the testing and development phases of their App project,” says Cherish. “And the program provided me a glimpse at how kids see the world and how they want to help it.” Both teams mentored by Cherish worked on Apps and then submitted these to the 2022 Emoti-Con virtual project fair and competition.
Besides mentoring, Cherish also judged 12 projects for the 2022 Emoti-Con virtual project fair and the event received more than 190 submitted projects from teen teams. The event announced the winners, runners-up, and honorable mentions in June, and one of Cherish’s teams won in the runners-up category. Student teams submitted many different App ideas, including ways to optimize school processes, how to help elderly populations use mobility services, the environment and many more.
