Dynamic Communities User Group Summit 2019 Recap

Dynamic Communities User Group Summit 2019 Recap

ArcherPoint has been participating in the User Group Summit Conference for many years. The value our clients get out of the rich session content, networking, and practical learning is incomparable for any user of Dynamics NAV and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Today we share some changes of note and highlights from the ArcherPoint team.

New Logo for the User Groups

Dynamic Communities, the organization that owns and manages the various Microsoft user groups is an independent organization. Just prior to Summit 2019, they launched a new logo that better identifies the company as a community driven organization.

Fostering Relationships

Carrie McNally: “I love being encouraged that it is essential to foster our relationships with existing clients. When we no longer are actively engaged with them simply because of execution evolution, but they feel we miss seeing them and want to catch up – it goes such a long way. Quite invaluable has been my experience at Summit.”

Joe LaMack appreciates the opportunity to strengthen his relationships with clients.

Matt Street enjoyed the ArcherPoint Client Appreciation Dinner, engaging with our happy clients.

Crystal Hill’s highlight was also our dinner and getting to meet the clients she regularly works with face-to-face.

Christine Satariano: “I have thoroughly enjoyed putting faces to names with our clients. Meeting colleagues face to face was also a highlight. But my favorite part was speaking with new customers and giving them the truth about upgrades! There is too much misinformation out there.”

Tom Marshello, from our Suite Engine team: “I thoroughly enjoyed the networking at Summit this year. I made several new connections looking to partner with us in offering RPM (Rental Process Management). NAV/BC is such a great community to be a part of, it is well worth the time and money we spend on it!

Learning

This year, DCI recorded certain sessions, allowing attendees to add-on access to the recorded sessions later. This gave many the opportunity to learn even more by attending sessions not recorded, and continue their learning after Summit with access to the recorded sessions. Attendees can request this addition to their registration by emailing support@dynamiccommunities.com. All registrants can download session presentations using this link to the session library.

Leanne Paul learned in the Women in Technology Session to find your role models and always choose to stand up. She also notes: “Summit always reminds me of the wealth of knowledge that our clients have. They have a lot to teach us if we take the time to listen to them.”

Crystal Hill valued the Leadership sessions, finding them very informative. She now has a list of books to read.

Tammy Fawcett: “Summit always reminds me that our clients often market our services and story better than we do. Bringing our clients together in invaluable.”
