What Dynamics NAV/BC Version Are You On? Finding Your Version Number
Do you know what Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC version you are using? If not, this blog provides step-by-step instructions for finding your Dynamics NAV or Business Central version. It has been split up and written for finding your version number in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 or NAV 2013 through NAV 2018, and finding your Dynamics 365 Business Central version. How to Find Your Microsoft Dynamics NAV Version in NAV 2009:

  1. Go to your Home page
  2. In the upper right hand corner, select the Blue Question Mark
  3. Select “Microsoft Dynamics NAV Help”
  4. Select “About Microsoft Dynamics NAV”

How to Find Your Microsoft Dynamics NAV Version in NAV 2013 and higher:

  1. Go to your Home page
  2. In the upper left hand corner select the Blue Down Arrow
  3. Select “Microsoft Dynamics NAV Help”
  4. Select “About Microsoft Dynamics NAV”
For the version number in NAV 2013 and NAV 2015, go to Help > About Microsoft Dynamics

How to Find Your Version in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

The instructions are the same, regardless of whether you are using Business Central on premises or Business Central SaaS. Step 1: Open Business Central and click the question mark in the upper right corner of your screen:
