Community Summit North America 2021: Back LIVE and In Person!
It's baaaaack...Community Summit North America 2021, which went virtual in 2020, is now back--LIVE--October 12-15 in Houston, Texas--and with "Everything has CHANGED..." on the home page, plus 600+ sessions, it's sure to be quite a comeback. As always, ArcherPoint is delighted to be exhibiting and participating and will have a whopping SIX sessions led by our Business Central and NAV experts. Here is a quick rundown of our sessions and speakers:
Automated Testing with Business Central: Matt Traxinger
5-time Microsoft MVP (Most Valuable Professional), Dynamics NAV and Business Central guru, and ArcherPoint Core Values Award winner, Matt Traxinger is always setting a high standard by staying on top of everything BC/NAV. His latest focus is on promoting the use of automated testing, which he'll be presenting at Community Summit North America 2021. It's not as complicated or time consuming as it sounds, which Matt will demonstrate during his session.
9 Modifications You No Longer Need with Business Central: Leanne Paul
In her session, NAV/BC veteran Leanne Paul digs into moving modifications from C/AL to AL. While there’s an understandable concern about how much the move is going to cost, don't be afraid: When you move to Business Central, some mods are no longer needed.
How to Get Current and Stay Current on Business Central: Jon Long
Another NAV/BC guru, Jon Long knows upgrades like the back of his hand. His session at Community Summit North America 2021 gets you prepared for making the move from Dynamics NAV to Business Central. It’s understandable why you might be avoiding it, but it doesn’t have to be painful or disruptive. It just takes knowledge of your options so you can take the path that’s right for your organization.
Manufacturing 301 in Business Central: Constantine Gart
Manufacturing expert Constantine Gart will dig into costing methods and costing features in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Ask the Manufacturing Experts: Constantine Gart
Constantine will join a panel of manufacturing experts for an information-packed Q&A session with attendees.
Don't Let Your Code Kill Your System's Performance: Saurav Dhyani
Another legend in the NAV/BC developer community, Saurav Dhyani has earned his 7-time Microsoft MVP status as a prolific writer, speaker, and general advocate for the community. In this session, Saurav drills down on system performance. There is a right or wrong way to approach programming in BC that is going to be scalable, functional, and serve your organization for the long term; however, using partial records is one way to ensure performance optimization of BC and your extensions to meet your requirements now and in the future.
