Look at the new features Microsoft has planned for Business Central for the upcoming release.
Some of the exciting features include:
- Integrating Business Central with Dynamics 365 Field Service
- Use Copilot to summarize information on cards or pages
- Enhanced troubleshooting using telemetry for client add-ins
- Use a new page type to embed Power BI content in a web client

Erik Hougaard walks through the new release’s hottest features in his video, What’s planned for Business Central 2025 Wave 1, aka BC26.
Developers will be interested to know that this release will remove the tables and fields that were marked as Obsolete::Removed for more than one major release. This will occur every five major releases.
Stefano Demiliani notes, “About 150 deprecated tables and more than 1000 fields have been removed, and you should be aware of that!”
