Don’t wanna miss a thing in 2025 Wave 1!

I’m not sure I’d call it Armageddon, but Duilio Tacconi has been digging into 2025 Wave 1 (v26) and has uncovered some meaty features in the upcoming release that warrant our attention.

Removal of objects in the base application – We mentioned this several weeks ago (see Dev Digest 519), but Duilio has included some additional resources that will help with cleaning up your code.

Tacconi also addresses a number of tables that can be enabled for higher concurrency, including the Item Ledger Entry, Value Entry, and Capacity Ledger, and the ability to understand the impact of missing index pages.

Loading multiple images in Business Central

Performing a bulk upload of images into Business Central can be tricky, but it can be done.

It starts with making sure the filenames of each image agrees with the corresponding item numbers and then compressing the files into a zip archive.
